Protocol: CCTS - A Prospective Study of Central Corneal Thickness in Children Less than 18 Years Old Status: Closed Start Date: 06/02/2008 End Date: 10/13/2009 Clinical Trial ID: N/A Public Dataset: Download A Prospective Study of Central Corneal Thickness in Children Less than 18 Years Old Protocol Objectives: Primary objective: To determine the distribution of CCT in a normal population of children aged 0 to <18 years and whether this distribution varies within race/ethnicity subpopulations and age groups. Secondary objectives: The determination of the age at which adult CCT is reached The determination of other possible clinical correlates of CCT, including cycloplegic refractive error determined by retinoscopy and IOP The comparison of IOP measurements with the GAT and Tonopen instruments in children aged 8 to <18 years and handheld GAT and Tonopen instruments in children 0 to 8 years while under anesthesia.
